I met them while I was bartending at my friend’s brewery, they walked in with their sweet pup, and we ended up in the best conversation about life, weddings, florals, and working in pediatric therapy (since we’re both pediatric therapists, OT& ST). It instantly felt like one of those meant to be connections.
I was also a new mom at the time, balancing all the changes of motherhood while dreaming up what would later become The Maven House. ✨ They were the very first couple to trust me with their signage and accent florals for their big day, even before The Maven House was officially launched.😭
They are truly the sweetest couple, and I’m so so grateful our paths crossed. 🥹

This elopement holds a special place in my heart—it was the first time I designed arbor florals and a bridal bouquet. A couple years ago, Megan, my hairstylist, was one of the first people I shared my dreams of entering the flower world with. She was my biggest hype girl, and when she got engaged, she asked me to create the florals for her Colorado elopement. I was so nervous, but also so excited!! Prior to opening The Maven House, I was a therapist specializing in pediatric occupational therapy. After my son was born, I made a big change in my life and decided to be a stay at home mom to take care of him. This decision ultimately lead me down a new path where I met Brittany, the designer and owner of @westandrockdesigns . 🤎
I have been blessed to work with the best in the industry the last few years, which has helped me learn about business, grow my skills, and develop my creativity. Without her support I would not be where I am today! 🫶🏼
